User interface layout
Purpose
All pages of MatchLytics-Assessment share the same layout. This page explains the fixed areas of the interface: menu, app bar, title bar, work area, footer and the floating buttons.
Who can see this?
All roles (Administrator, Team leader, User), if MatchLytics-Assessment is enabled for your account.
Layout

- Menu – Leads to the four areas Current, Applications, Invitations and Positions. The icon on the left of the app bar shows or hides the menu.
- App bar – Shows the product name “sense.AI.tion Matchlytics Assessment” in the color of the application and groups help, language and profile on the right. It stays visible on every page.
- Title bar – Shows the name of the open page with the path above it. The arrow goes one step back in the browser history, and Home opens the start page Current.
- Work area – Shows the content of the page, usually a table that you filter with the input fields under the column headings. On Applications and Invitations, the Position field above the table determines which position the rows belong to.
- Help – Opens the online help for the current page as a window above the application. The button only appears if there is a help text for the page in your language.
- Language selection – Changes the language of the interface, and the browser remembers your choice. The language also determines the help and the column headings of the CSV download in Applications.
- Profile menu – Shows your name, your role and your company and sets the theme. The Control Board button ends your session in MatchLytics-Assessment and takes you back to the Controlboard.
- Footer – States the copyright and links to Version (changes per version), Roadmap (planned functions), About, Privacy policy and Impressum. All links open in a new tab, and About only appears on wide screens.
- Floating buttons – The upper button opens the TwentyFive Assistant, an AI chat about the TwentyFive method. The lower button Send Bug Report opens a form with which you send an error to sense.AI.tion.
Functions
Show or hide the menu
The menu is the navigation between the four areas of the application. On wide screens it stays visible as a narrow bar with icons when collapsed, and on narrow screens it opens as a window above the page. The browser remembers whether the menu was open; the setting applies to all pages, but only for you in this browser.
Click the icon on the far left of the app bar. The menu expands or collapses. The menu items are described in the menu overview.
Open the help
The help explains the page that you currently have open. The application retrieves the help text for the current address from the online help, in the language of the interface and matching your light or dark theme. If there is no help text for the page, the button does not appear.
- Click the question mark in the app bar.
- The help opens in a window; the page behind it remains unchanged.
- Close the window with Close.
Opening the help does not change any data.
Change the language
The language applies to the interface, to the help and to the headings of the CSV download in Applications. If you open the application from the Controlboard, it starts in the language of the Controlboard; the browser saves your choice for the next visit. The language only changes the display, not the data of your positions and applicants.
- Click the language selection in the app bar.
- Select one of the seven languages: German, English, Spanish, Finnish, French, Italian or Korean. The languages are listed in their own spelling (for example “Deutsch”).
The interface switches to the selected language without reloading the page.
Use the profile menu
The profile menu shows the account and the role with which you are signed in. The role comes from your user account in the Controlboard and decides, for example, who may hire applicants. Switching the company and the theme apply immediately to the whole application; the browser saves the theme.
Click your name at the top right. The profile menu shows:
- Your name and your role (Administrator, Team leader or User).
- Your company. If you have access to several companies, click the company name and use Select customer to switch to another company; the application then loads the data of that company. You return to your own company via the Controlboard.
- Theme: … – opens Theme with System theme, Dark theme and Light theme.
- The Control Board button (arrow icon) – leaves the application immediately, and unsaved entries are lost.
Use the TwentyFive Assistant
The TwentyFive Assistant answers questions about the TwentyFive method from a knowledge base of sense.AI.tion. It knows neither your positions nor your applicants, because the application only sends the chat history. The history is stored per user on the server and appears again the next time you open the chat.
- Click the upper round button at the bottom right (Chat with Assistant). The chat window opens.
- Enter your question with at most 1,000 characters and send it with the Enter key. Shift+Enter starts a new line.
- Use Clear conversation to remove the previous history. The icon only appears once there is a history.
- Use Minimize chat or the Escape key to close the window. The conversation is kept.
Clearing removes the history on the server as well and cannot be undone.
Send a bug report
The form lets you report an error or an inconsistency without leaving the application. The report goes to sense.AI.tion. The button is on every page of the application, including the No access page.
- Click the lower round button at the bottom right (Send Bug Report).
- In the Report a Bug form, fill in the Name, Email and Description fields.
- Click Send Bug Report.
The message “Thank you for your report!” then appears. Use Cancel to close the form without sending anything.
Notes
In a narrow browser window, Help, language selection and profile menu (areas 5 to 7) are combined in a menu behind the three dots on the right of the app bar. If MatchLytics-Assessment is not enabled for your account, you only see the No access page instead of the interface (see General workflow).
