Designers are positively motivated when they work on responsible tasks. They seek challenges in which they can positively contribute their creative energy.

When they want to achieve something, they use their empathy and assertiveness. Depending on the situation, the needs for affiliation, rationality, security and recognition may also become apparent. Mostly, however, the desires to achieve something that is reasonable for everyone involved and to assert oneself with one’s own ideas have the highest priority.

Emotionally, they are characterized by the needs for enforcement and empathy.

The motivation for enforcement strives for growth and likes change. Stagnation is regression and only those who dare win are typical statements of this orientation. When we see attractive goals in front of us, it increases the power to commit ourselves. We fight for our visions.

Empathy means empathy. It is about emotional closeness and harmonious relationships. This attitude comes across as warm-hearted and open. Empathic people are responsible and perceive complex, emotional relationships.
