Applications

Purpose

The Applications page is the start page of the Controlboard. Each application your company has licensed has its own card. Click the card to switch to the application without signing in again. You also find the cards for the academy and the knowledge base here.

Who can see this?

All roles see the Applications page. Which cards appear depends on the license of your company and on your role:

• Only cards of applications that your company has licensed appear. Applications that are not licensed are not displayed.
• Only administrators see the MatchLytics Assessment card.
• The Call Leader card appears with a Call Leader license; companies licensed for Call Assistant get it automatically.
• All users see the Academy and Knowledge Base cards.

Layout

1. Menu – Leads to the pages of the Controlboard. Which items appear depends on your role: administrators see Applications, Company, E-Mails and Settings.
2. Application cards – Show one card for each application your company has licensed and switch into the application when clicked. Only the MatchLytics Assessment card is shown to administrators exclusively.
3. Chip – Marks the status of an application, here Alpha for Audienca Enhance. It sits below the name of the card.
4. Academy – Opens the academy in a new tab without asking you to sign in there again. The card is available to all roles.
5. Knowledge Base – Opens the documentation of sense.AI.tion, which also contains these pages, in a new tab.

Users only see the item Applications in the menu and no MatchLytics Assessment card.

1. Menu – Shows users only the item Applications, because the other items are reserved for administrators.
2. Application cards – Show the same cards as for administrators, but without MatchLytics Assessment. For users this card is missing even if the company has licensed the application.
3. Academy and Knowledge Base – Behave as for administrators, because both cards are available to all roles.

Functions

Start an application

The Controlboard is the central entry to all applications of your company. When you click a card, it hands the application a sign-in code that is valid for 30 seconds and can be used only once; the application uses it to open your session in the selected company and in the language of the Controlboard. Call Assistant and Portrait Shop take over the sign-in in an older way without this code. If you open a link in an application without a session, the application offers the Login button; after you sign in to the Controlboard, it takes you back to the original page.

1. In the menu, open the item Applications.
2. Click the card of the application you want.

The application opens in the same browser tab, and you are signed in automatically. Clicking Call Assistant starts the installed program. If it is not installed, the message “Call Assist is not installed. Please install Call Assist (popup) and try again.” appears, and the product page of Call Assistant on senseaition.com opens in a new tab. If the application is not licensed for your company and you open it through a link, the documentation of sense.AI.tion opens instead. Switching does not change any data of your company; you get back to the Controlboard as described under Return to the Controlboard.

Read the chips

A chip shows the status of the application below the name of a card. The Controlboard sets it identically for all companies; neither you nor your administrator can change it. It has no influence on how you work, because a card with a chip opens the application like any other.

Possible values are Alpha, Beta, Intern and New. Currently only Audienca Enhance carries a chip (Alpha).

Open the academy

The academy offers courses as video or SCORM courses, including the mandatory courses your administrator defines. When you click, the Controlboard requests a personal sign-in link for your account. If you open the academy for the first time, the system creates an access with your name and email address there. The system takes over course completions from the academy into the mandatory courses once a day (see Academy and mandatory courses).

1. Click the Academy card.
2. Wait a moment. While the connection is being set up, the card is dimmed.

The academy opens in a new tab, and you are signed in there. If a help text or an email links directly to the academy, a redirect page with the text “Opening the academy …” appears first. If the redirect fails, the page shows “The academy could not be opened. Please try again.” with the button Try again and the link Back to the application overview.

Open the knowledge base

The knowledge base is the documentation of sense.AI.tion, which also contains these pages. The Controlboard opens it through the stored address doc.senseaition.com and chooses the language by your interface: for every English setting (including en-US) the English version opens, otherwise the German one. If you switch the language, the card follows with the next click. Because the card is not one of the licensed applications, it appears for all roles and companies.

Click the Knowledge Base card. The documentation opens in a new tab, and the Controlboard stays open.

Return to the Controlboard

In the MatchLytics applications, in Call Leader and in Audienca Enhance, the Control Board button in the profile menu replaces signing out. It ends the session in the application and opens the Controlboard, whose own session stays active. You can therefore start the next application right away without signing in to the Controlboard again. Switching into the same application again creates a new sign-in code.

1. In the application, open the profile menu by clicking your name in the header.
2. Click the Control Board button (arrow icon).

You are signed out of the application and return to the Applications page. No data is lost in the process.
