MakerMotivation

Doers are positively motivated when they have meaningful goals toward which they can move powerfully. They need freedom, sufficient power reserves, clear structures and information.

When they want to achieve something, they use their assertiveness and thinking skills. Depending on the situation, the needs for affiliation, empathy, security and recognition may also become apparent. Mostly, however, the desires to achieve something that makes logical sense and to assert oneself with one’s own reasoning have the highest priority.

Emotionally, they are characterized by the needs for enforcement and cognition.

The motivation for enforcement strives for growth and likes change. Stagnation is regression and only those who dare win are typical statements of this orientation. When we see attractive goals in front of us, it increases the power to commit ourselves. We fight for our visions.

The pursuit of knowledge is rational. It wants to recognize reality and the connections. This trains logical thinking. This part of the personality needs the right distance and the best point of view to be able to perceive things or events objectively.
